Abstract

Information technology has transformed the education landscape by introducing various tools and applications that enhance the effectiveness of the learning process. One increasingly popular application among educators is Canva, an intuitive and user-friendly graphic design platform. This activity aims to present the steps for using the Canva application in an educational context. Canva offers a range of features such as ready-to-use design templates, graphic elements, artistic text, and collaborative capabilities within a single platform. Through the integration of Canva in education, educators can easily create engaging and visually appealing learning materials efficiently. Furthermore, educators can encourage active student participation by involving them in creative and innovative projects using Canva, emphasizing the necessity for educators to embrace the advancements of the times. As seen in the context of YP Nasional Surabaya Elementary School, which is still in its developmental stages and employs young educators, some even in the status of students, there is a need to develop various skills that can support the teaching-learning activities. Therefore, the presentation of steps using the Canva application as a teaching medium is highly beneficial.The results of this activity indicate that the utilization of Canva in education has brought several benefits, including increased student engagement, enhanced concept understanding through visualization, development of educators' creativity, and the creation of interactive learning media and upgraded technological knowledge skill of educator. However, some challenges have also been identified, such as initial technical learning for educators unfamiliar with this application and limited infrastructure.
