Focus and Scope

KHIDMATUNA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a scholarly journal published by Institut Al Fithrah as a platform for disseminating community service activities that emphasize empowerment, mentoring, capacity building, innovation, and community-based problem solving.

The journal publishes articles in the following areas:

Education and literacy, including teacher development, learning innovation, character education, and community literacy.
Religion and Islamic boarding schools, including Islamic education, da’wah, santri development, mosque-based empowerment, and religious community development.
Community empowerment and development, in rural, urban, and specific community settings.
Creative economy, entrepreneurship, and MSMEs, including product development, marketing, digital marketing, and economic empowerment.
Technology and innovation for society, including digital media, educational technology, appropriate technology, and digitalization.
Social, cultural, and institutional development, including organizational capacity building, administration, governance, and community-based social and cultural development.

KHIDMATUNA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat welcomes community service articles using approaches such as Participatory Action Research (PAR), Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), Community-Based Research (CBR), Service Learning, training, mentoring, workshops, socialization, and other relevant community empowerment methods.

Submitted articles are expected to clearly present community or partner needs, systematic implementation methods, measurable outcomes, evaluation, and program sustainability.
