Peer Reviewer Process

All manuscripts submitted to KHIDMATUNA: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, originality, academic quality, and compliance with the submission guidelines.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are reviewed by independent reviewers using a blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed.

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on the relevance of the topic, clarity of objectives, appropriateness of methods, quality of discussion, significance of the community service outcomes, originality, and quality of references.

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial decision may be:

  1. accepted;

  2. accepted with minor revisions;

  3. accepted with major revisions; or

  4. rejected.

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ and editors’ comments before final acceptance. The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
