Article Processing Charge (APC)

Jurnal TARBAWI is committed to maintaining transparency regarding all fees associated with the manuscript submission, peer-review, and publication process.

Peer Review Fee: IDR 0 (No separate peer-review fee)
Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 400,000 per accepted article

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied only to manuscripts that have successfully completed the peer-review process and have been formally accepted for publication.

The APC contributes to the operational costs of scholarly publishing, including editorial administration, management of the peer-review process, manuscript processing, copyediting and layout, digital publication, DOI and metadata management, website maintenance, and journal administration.

No separate fee is charged for manuscript submission or peer review.

Payment of the APC does not influence the peer-review process, editorial evaluation, reviewer recommendations, or the decision to accept or reject a manuscript. All editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, and compliance with research and publication ethics.

Jurnal TARBAWI does not charge additional page fees, color charges, or other publication-related fees unless such charges are explicitly stated and communicated to the author in advance.

Official payment information will be provided by the editorial office only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

APC Waiver Policy

Jurnal TARBAWI provides a limited APC waiver for authors who are unable to cover the Article Processing Charge due to demonstrable financial constraints or other justified circumstances.

Waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the journal’s administrative review and available publication resources.

Authors who wish to request an APC waiver should submit their request to the editorial office after the manuscript has been formally accepted and before payment is made, accompanied by a brief explanation of the circumstances supporting the request.

The waiver may take the form of a partial reduction or full exemption from the Article Processing Charge, depending on the circumstances and the decision of the journal management.

The availability, submission, approval, or rejection of an APC waiver request shall have no influence on the peer-review process, editorial evaluation, or final publication decision.

All waiver-related information will be handled administratively and separately from the academic evaluation of the manuscript.
